How do I list my business?
You can create your listing directly on the website. For best results, we recommend downloading and following the step-by step guideline on our Home Page. Once submitted, it will be verified by our Admin team. If there are any problems, someone will reach out to you on email.
What types of businesses/organizations can list on OregonOH.com?
We welcome all locally owned businesses, home-based businesses, online stores, and community organizations (including social clubs) that serve the Oregon, Ohio area. You don’t even have to own a formal business to list – whether you’re a Pet Sitter, Tutor, Home Baker, Caregiver, Online Store Owner, or Franchise Owner – if you provide a product, or offer a service to the Oregon community, you are encouraged to join!
Why should I join early?
Early listings get more visibility and face less competition. You can start building your reputation immediately by asking happy customers to submit reviews.
What to do if my business type is not listed as a sub-category, or if the category I want to list in doesn’t exist?
You can contact us from our Contact Page, or send a Message from our Facebook page to request that we add a new Category and/or sub-category. We’ll confirm as soon as it has been done.
How long will my listing stay active?
Free listings are active for one year and can be renewed at no cost. Paid subscriptions stay active as long as your plan remains current. You can cancel at any time.
Can I edit my listing after it’s published?
Yes! Once your listing is approved, you can log in anytime to update your contact information, photos, hours, or details.

How do I find local businesses on the site?
You can browse by category on our Home Page. Use the Filter option on the left hand side to get all the listings in a specific sub-category. Our Listings Page shows all published listings in no particular order. Here, you can also use the Filter option on the left hand side to filter to a specific business type.
Can I leave a review for a business?
Yes – as long as you’ve registered a free user account. All reviews are moderated to ensure they follow our community guidelines. Because we can’t verify either good or bad experiences, we only allow positive reviews. If you had a bad experience, we encourage you to resolve it directly with the business. However, you can use the “Report a Listing” feature to report a business if they are fake.

When you choose to shop local and support the businesses listed on OregonOH.com, you’re helping our whole community thrive. Many of these small businesses are owned by your neighbors – people who live, work, and invest right here in Oregon, Ohio.
A portion of the funds we receive from business subscriptions goes toward community activities like fun competitions, raffles, and giveaways, bringing everyone together and giving back in creative ways.
So every time you support a listed business, you’re also helping to support the community you call home.
Do I need to create an account to search listings?
No, you can freely browse listings without signing in. However, creating a free account allows you to save favorites, write reviews, report false listings and send messages directly to the business owner. All messages are kept in your Dashboard until you delete them.
Are the businesses verified?
Listings are self-submitted by business owners, but our team checks basic details for accuracy. Reviews from the community also help ensure reliability and fraudulent/fake listings can be reported by clicking the “Report a Listing” button.
How does OregonOH.com give back to the community?
OregonOH.com is more than just a business directory – it’s a community hub designed to connect and support local residents, businesses and organizations. A portion of the funds collected from business subscriptions will be used to host community raffles, fun competitions, and local giveaways that everyone can enjoy.
We also provide a space where community resources – like food banks, local programs, and nonprofit organizations – can be easily found in one place. In addition, anyone can submit a local event for free, making it simple to share what’s happening in and around town. In the future, we’ll also offer event ticket sales right through our site, so supporting local events will be easier than ever.

OregonOH.com is operated by Community Online Directories LLC, an Ohio-based company dedicated to supporting local communities and small businesses.
Can I submit local photos or events?
Yes! We love community contributions. We have a dedicated Community Gallery Page where we feature photo’s submitted on our facebook page – join our page to be kept updated. You can submit photos, upcoming events, or local announcements – just remember that by submitting, you grant us permission to feature them on our website or social media (with credit when possible). What if I spot an error or inappropriate listing?
Please let us know through the “Report Listing” link on the business listing, or contact us directly so we can review it.
Do you allow political or controversial content?
NO! OregonOH.com is a community-friendly platform focused on positive engagement and fostering local support. Political or offensive content will not be published and any disrespectful comments on our facebook page will be deleted. We are all about creating a safe, positive environment for everybody and not about drama.
